I would like to thank all of you that came out in the cold, wet weather to participate in our event. I know that many people were disappointed that extra shirts were not available but late registrations far exceeded even our usually-reliable overage predictions for ordering.
Fortunately, we were able to provide medals to all half-marathon participants. Several of you drew satisfaction from passing up on a medal so that first-timers could enjoy that little bit of extra sense of accomplishment and I sincerely appreciate that (as do they). If you did not receive a medal and are still interested in receiving one, please email me and I will check to see how many we might have remaining.
If you won an age-bracket award and were unable to remain for the ceremony, you can call InsideOut Sports (919.466.0101) to see if they still have your award.
