I do recommend that runners are running at least 15 - 20 mpw in 4-5 days before coming to the track workouts.   If you have been running awhile and also do biathlons/triathlons I usually make an exception to the running mileage.

Tuesday

6:00pm NOTE: Change in location

Running from the parking lot behind Hardee's @ Spring Forest and Falls of Neuse

We aim for 6 p.m., but may have to wait until 6:15 if someone is running late. We are a small band, mostly women, not very fast.  Many of us are a spin-off group from the 7:30 Sunday group.   We usually run just over 3 miles, occasionally 4 or 5.  We may break into 2 groups with one group doing 11:00 or 12:00 minute pace and another group going a little faster or farther with fewer walk breaks.  Did I mention the walk breaks?  Don’t get too excited.  We only walk for 1 minute every 5 to 10 minutes!  The footing is asphalt and fairly level.  We would love to have your join us.
