NCRC is hosting a new fun run featuring two gourmet chocolate stores and downtown Raleigh scenery. The Capitol Chocolate Run will take place at 10:00AM on Saturday, April 23rd. It will start at the Videri Chocolate Factory in the old Raleigh Depot building on West Davie Street and go 1.8 miles to the Escazu chocolate store on North Blount Street before heading back to Videri.
Videri will offer sample chocolate bars for us when we meet there at 10:00AM, and Escazu will offer shots of iced hot chocolate. Both also have a variety of delicious chocolates that you can buy. The route will take us through Nash Square, by the presidential statues on the Capitol grounds, down the Bicentennial Mall between the two state museums, across Halifax Mall, and by William Peace University.
Registration is $10 with proceeds benefiting Girls on The Run Triangle.
Space is limited to 50 runners.
NCRC members have priority registration through April 5th.
Non-Members can register starting April 6th for remaining spots.
