Registration Opens Saturday for 2023 Spring Forth!

Thank you for your participation in the 2022 NCRC's Spring Forth scavenger run photo challenge. We hope you'll participate again this year and encourage others to join you. There will be a few changes this year in our attempt to make the event bigger and better.
The main change will be the event dates. This year, the event dates are April 22-29, compared to March 19-26 last year. Instead of anchored around the start of spring, it now will start on Earth Day. Our beneficiaries, Girls on the Run of the Triangle and the City of Oaks Foundation, requested the later dates to get them more involved in the planning and promotion of the event. We'll also have five new photo categories and the return of a 2021 photo category (go to our website for details). For the first time in the three-year history of this event, we'll have a live kickoff on April 21, the day before the event starts. This kickoff, located at the picnic shelter in Raleigh's Lake Lynn Park, will introduce the beneficiary organizations and offer a competition based on this year's photo categories. Attendance at the kickoff isn't required to participate in Spring Forth, but it's encouraged. Another new idea this year is a higher level of prizes, grand prizes, that only those who submit photos in all 10 categories will be eligible to win.
Registration opens Saturday and will close at 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on April 21, giving you six weeks to sign up. You can go ahead and start taking photos or at least start thinking about them.We'll be doing much more promotion and are hoping to get much more participation this year.
