Thanks again for registering for our unique event! As far as we know, no one else has tried anything like it. With the start of our event about a week away, we'd like to send you a few reminders:
You're our best advocates for this event. We hope you can persuade friends and/or family members to join you. You're welcome to participate with someone or in a group, as long as each person posts their own photos. For anyone interested in participating, remind them that March 19 is the registration deadline. You can start on your photos before March 20, but you won't be able to register after March 19.
Our event has low overhead, so 100% of the registration fees and any additional donations are split between the two beneficiaries. The prizes have all been donated. We're depending on volunteers and word-of-mouth advertising.
Everyone who completes our easy challenge will receive a $10 credit for any Capstone Event Group race (from 5Ks to marathons, including virtual races) AND a chance to win one of 41 prizes, ranging in value from $25 to $100.
While you only need to take and post seven photos to be eligible for the prize drawing, you're welcome to post photos from all 10 themes. The prizes will be awarded randomly. There will be no judging for photo quality, but each photo will have a "like" button. You will have a chance to tell where you took each photo and to add comments. The photos will be displayed on the event website in one of 10 galleries, one for each theme.
