Registration Opens Monday for 2024 Spring Forth

Thank you for participating in the 2023 NCRC's Spring Forth event. We hope you'll want to participate again this year. Registration will open Monday (March 4) on our website (ncrcsspringforth.com) with the event dates April 13-20.
As a reminder, you can start taking your photos at any time. The one new category this year will be Two or More of Us, replacing Shadow Friends. The other categories will remain Sign of Spring, Public Park, Bird Watch, Four-Legged Friends, Greenway or Marked Trail, Leafy Treasures, Nature's Alphabet, Outdoor Art, and Water Wonders. Watch for a new promotional video by Esther Dill, which will be coming out soon!
One significant change this year will be an option for a Team Entry. With a Team Entry, an individual can sign up on behalf of two or more participants (including him- or herself) and will post all of the team's photos. The "team" can consist of family members, friends, coworkers, or any other combination of people. The benefits of a Team Entry include:
The option to participate as a family or group
The ability to participate if you're unable to post photos during the event. The team leader can post them on your behalf.
The opportunity to have fun with a team posting name
The opportunity to save a few dollars on registration. We hope most of the teams will donate beyond their $20 registration fee.
Hopefully, the team option will help boost participation. You're certainly welcome to participate again either as an individual or as a team. Please help us spread the word to get more participants this year. Lauren Smith is assisting me this year in running this event and has already been a big help.
