03/26/2024 -  Reminder to Register for Spring Forth!

Thanks if you have registered for the 2024 NCRC's Spring Forth! Remember that the sooner you register (http://ncrcsspringforth.com), the sooner you can get outdoors to take your photos. The event dates this year are April 13-20.

We've made the following enhancements this year in an attempt to boost participation: 
  • We've added a Team entry option. Two or more people can sign up and participate as a team and use a creative team posting name. This is meant to encourage families or any other groups to participate together. Participants can share the cost, and one person can post for other team members. If you have a schedule conflict for event week, your team leader can post your photos for you.
  • We'll have a greater variety of prizes this year. The only race prize will be one that can be used for any NCRC race. We'll still have a few running store gift cards, but we're adding prizes that will also appeal to non-runners. Hopefully, this will encourage non-runners to participate.
  • Esther Dill created a promotional video for us. The video succintly explains the event in about a minute. You can find it in our Facebook group and on our Instagram page.
  • Lauren Smith has joined us as an assistant director. Lauren will be especially helpful with the Instagram aspects of this event.
