Disregard this email if you've already registered! Just about a week remains before posting starts (April 13) for the 2024 NCRC's Spring Forth! It's a week earlier than it was last year. This will be a final reminder for those who participated last year who have not yet registered. We'd love to have you back with us again this year (ncrcsspringforth.com)!
You can take your photos at any time. You don't have to wait until the event week. If you're a returning participant,try venturing out to a park you haven't been to before to get your photos.
We made a few changes this year. The prizes now are more evenly split between running and non-running. Check out the new prize donors we've added, including Duck Donuts and Garden Supply store. The idea was to better reflect Spring Forth as an outdoor walking event rather than a running event. Encourage your non-running friends and family members to participate!
We also added a team entry option. The idea was to allow two or more people (families and/or friends) to participate together for the same price as an individual. This option also allows someone who is unavailable during event week to participate by having their team leader post their photos for them.
I'm planning to leave registration open a little longer this year, until 6 p.m. on April 13. The more participation, the better! Hope everyone enjoys it this year. Don't overthink it! It's not a competition.
For new participants, the posting process should be easy to follow (using either the Submit Photos tab or Enter Your Virtual Results). On the first day, three galleries will be open for posting: Sign of Spring, Public Park, and Bird Watch. Contact me for any questions about the event (jethreadgill7@gmail.com) and contact (help@racereach.com) for technical questions. I plan to send my next email on April 13.
