Registration Open for NCRC's Spring Forth — April 22-29
Registration is now open for NCRC's Spring Forth, our unique scavenger run photo challenge. It's a great way to celebrate spring and nature while contributing to two worthy organizations: Girls on the Run of the Triangle and the City of Oaks Foundation! You can easily win more value in a prize or prizes than you pay for registration. We give you 10 categories of photos to take of places where you run or walk. If you post photos on our event website in at least seven of the categories over the eight days of the event (April 22-29), you win a $10 credit to eligible Capstone Event Group races and become eligible to enter our gift prize drawing on April 30 (click the Donors tab to see who's contributing this year). A new addition this year is a kickoff event on April 21 at Raleigh's Lake Lynn Park (click the Calendar tab for details and to RSVP). Spring Forth registration ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 21.

Welcome to NCRC
Welcome to the North Carolina Roadrunners Club, commonly known as NCRC! We're a nonprofit organization that's a member club of the Road Runners Club of America, one of 23 RRCA clubs in North Carolina. We're based in Raleigh, where our club began in 1979 (see the About NCRC tab for more details). NCRC hosts three races each year, ranging in length from 5K to half-marathon, and holds two annual fund-raising events (see the NCRC Races/Events tab for details). Benefits of becoming a club member include race and in-store discounts, a bimonthly online newsletter, and a member rewards program. We also hold social runs and other events throughout the year (see the Calendar tab). All runners and walkers are welcome to join us! If you're new to the Triangle, check out Triangle Running Websites under the Resources tab.
NC Museum of Art Social Run — Sunday, April 23
For our April social run, you have the option of strolling the trails of the N.C. Museum of Art or challenging yourself by running the hills that are common in the museum park. Either way, you can enjoy all of the outdoor art and the tranquil setting. We'll meet at 2 p.m. on April 23 for a group photo in the picnic area of the Ellipse lawn (find the address in our Calendar and look for the NCRC pennant flag at the meeting site). After the photo, we'll head off for our walk or run (lots of photo ops!). When we finish, our social run leader, Lauren Smith, will have refreshments for us.

NCRC Classic Race — Sunday, May 21
If you're up for a challenging course in a park setting, join us for the NCRC Classic Half-Marathon & 10K in Umstead State Park! Registration is now open for the May 21 race, the second of three NCRC races this year. The out-and-back courses for the half marathon and 10K will both start near 3000 Weston Parkway in Cary. The main beneficiary of the race is the Umstead Coalition. If you're unable to run the race, please help as a volunteer!
